Home Schooled Aquatics at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center

• Choose from four programs based on your children’s skill levels and interests - offerings for all ages 

• All programs are 1 hour from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, Tuesday and Thursday

Swim instruction for children who can swim 20 meters

Springboard Dive Instruction - for children 6 & up

Swim Team - for children 6 & up 

Lap Swim available for parents

20 weeks, January 10 - June 5, 2012

1 x per week - $126 for 20 weeks, then $63.00 for each additional family participant

2 x per week - $168, then $84.00 for each additional family participant

The Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center is Wisconsin’s best competitive aquatic facility and is the only Olympic size pool in the region with a full compliment of diving boards 1, 3 and 10 meters high.  Competition in meets is available but not required.  Children can move from lessons to team as quickly as they are ready.  If swimming isn’t capturing your children’s interest, they can switch to diving and vice versa.    

* Swimming lessons for for non-swimmers will be provided by the Rite-Hite YMCA and its staff in its convenient warm water pool right down the hall.  Classes can be formed for non-swimmers age 3  & up but will follow the YMCA’s guidelines for age appropriate class duration 3-5 years 30 min, 6+ 45 min.  Pricing and schedule set by the YMCA.

Cooperative Programing Offered by the Rite-Hite YMCA for Home Schooled Families The Rite-Hite YMCA is offering programs for Home Schooled families that compliment the program offerings of the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center.
