Golf Outing a Success!

Thank you everyone that participated in the 2nd Annual WSAC Golf Outing! This year was an absolute blast, and I am so thankful that the weather was on our side! We had more than twice as many participants this year! This year we ended up having 69 participants, compared to last years 33. The 19th Hole gathering, which was sponsored by the Mikota Family, saw an additional 25-30 people come enjoy the weather, and have some food and drink outside.

First of all, this could not have been done without the help of our sponsors, volunteers, and participants.

John Kinsella 1968 Olympic Silver Medalist in the 1500, and 1972 Olympic Gold Medalist in the 4x200Fr Relay
Kevin and his father, Ralph Zakrzewski, Kevin was my roommate in college, and was an All-American Breaststroker at UW-Madison. Kevin was the winner of the longest drive contest, 350yd teeshot. He beat me by only 10yds on that one, DARN!
Lee Muchie and Frank Kumosz, friends of the Mikota family, came and joined us as well!

WSAC Golf Outing Infomation and 19th Hole Gathering!

If you are not golfing please come join us for the 19th Hole Gathering at Flannery's of Fire Ridge Golf Course afterwards! There will be drinks, hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction, raffle prizes, cash prizes for contests, and the unveiling of the "Speedy Kent" Longest Putt traveling trophy! Cost is $25 and will commence at 4:00 pm. Hope to see you all there!

WSAC Golf Outing Infomation

Dear WSAC Supporters,

The time is upon us to start thinking about the 2^nd annual WSAC Golf Outing. As the temperatures increase, and the snow and ice begin to go away, I am sure that many of you are just itching to get outside under the sun and relax. I am pleased to announce that we will be holding the WSAC Golf Outing this year on Monday, the 21^st of June, at Fire Ridge Golf Course in Grafton, WI.

Many of you may not be aware, but the WSAC is a non-for-profit organization, and we are solely responsible for keeping this place alive! The WSAC is a pool that has been host to world records, past Olympians, and hopefully, future Olympians. Your support ensures that children from all across the region have an opportunity to fall in love with the sport of swimming, and possibly becoming elite-level athletes. Please come join us by hitting the links with fellow coaches, parents, swimmers, and fans of the sport. It is a great opportunity to get to know the people seen in the stands or on deck every weekend at our competitions. There will also be a raffle with swimming memmorabilia and golf equipment!
